HR Lead (Israel, Caesarea – Hybrid)

Location: Israel, Caesarea – hybrid (2 days in the office per week) – occasional international travel required

Atriis is an innovative and fast-growing B2B SaaS startup, at the forefront of revolutionizing the travel tech industry. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Lead to take ownership of HR operations and contribute to strategic initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage day-to-day HR functions while shaping the organization’s culture and supporting its growth. Reporting to the COO the HR Lead will oversee HR operations, compliance, and employee relations, with support from a part-time HR admin.

As an HR Lead at Atriis, your role will be diverse and encompass a wide range of responsibilities. You will serve as the go-to person for all HR-related matters across all the countries in which Atriis has staff (including Israel, UK and Portugal), providing expert guidance and support to the organization and ensuring that all employment is administered effectively in all countries.

Your main responsibilities will include*:

Operational Focus (70%)

  • HR Administration: Ensure efficient management of payroll, employee records, and benefits programs.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate interviews, offers, and onboarding.
  • Compliance and Contracts: Work closely with legal and external advisors to review, audit, and manage employment contracts, contractor agreements, and ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Employer of Record Oversight: Monitor and verify Employers of Record (EOR) billing, invoicing, and processes with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and alignment with agreements.
  • Budget Management: Prepare, forecast, and monitor the annual HR budget in collaboration with the finance team, ensuring effective resource allocation and adherence to financial goals.
  • HRIS Management: Maintain accurate data in the HR system and streamline operational workflows.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, providing guidance and resolving issues.

 

Strategic Contributions (30%)

  • Policy Development: Contribute to the creation and implementation of HR policies that enhance employee experience and support company goals.
  • Culture Building: Partner with leadership to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Workforce Planning: Collaborate with leaders to identify talent needs and implement strategies for retention and development.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Use HR analytics to provide recommendations that drive organizational performance.

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HR roles in a startup/SaaS environment, with a mix of operational and strategic responsibilities.
  • Good understanding of labor laws in Israel, with the capability to research, learn and apply international labor laws.
  • Proven experience working with legal advisors and managing employment and contractor agreements with attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to monitor and verify billing, invoicing, and financial documentation from external partners (e.g., Employers of Record).
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare, forecast, and manage HR budgets, working closely with finance teams.
  • Familiarity with HR operations in a multi-country environment (e.g., Israel, UK, US, Portugal).
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and compliance.
  • Proficiency in HRIS tools and systems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
  • A hands-on, problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance competing priorities.
